About Brian

Brian Beutler is a blogger and the Washington Correspondent for The Media Consortium. Occasionally he writes for publications like The American Prospect and The Guardian. A native of Redlands, California, he doesn't own a pair of pajamas, let alone wear them when he writes.

Brian graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2004 with degrees in physics and astrophysics. But at some point in his senior year, it dawned on him that none of the good cosmology firms were hiring. So, after skipping a few beats, he turned to journalism where, as everybody knows, the job market is hot, hot, hot. He's been occasionally employed ever since.
